UPCOMING SHOW: CATCH 22 Sunday, December 17th 3pm Unity Worship Center, Cartersville, GA .......Free Admission

Born in Atlanta, Ga, DeAndre Rivers, also known as DreTZAR or simply Dre, was raised in Riverdale, Ga. It was here where DeAndre found his love for the arts. DeAndre was first introduced to acting and performing in school plays at Pointe South Elementary School. Dre would also write stories in his free time.
During his years at Pointe South Middle School and Mundy’s Mill High School, DeAndre joined the band playing the flute before ultimately switching to the tenor saxophone. While also being an athlete, playing both football and running track, Dre didn’t have much time to join the drama club. However, during his senior year at Mundy’s Mill High School, DeAndre joined the drama club E.Y.E, founded by his drama teacher Ms. Luckett.
Leaving his football and band days behind him, DeAndre graduated from “The Unsinkable” Albany State University, where he performed in a number of stage plays and modeled fashion shows.
Upon returning home to Riverdale to teach, DeAndre, never losing his passion for the arts, joined Cycerli Ash’s acting class. He has since then learned of his true potential and began his journey to become one of the greatest artist he can be.
His ambition is to establish himself as one of the great actors, as well as filmmakers. His vision is to create a production company that can ultimately create more opportunities for Black creatives.
